Earth Day is a very special day for all of us. It reminds us to take care of our planet, the Earth which gives us all the essentials required to live in a suitable condition. It is important for every child to learn the importance of protecting their planet and keep it green and clean.
At Epic Public School, Earth Day is celebrated in different and meaningful ways. Some years student plant trees and flowers in the school garden to keep it green. Other years, they take part in rallies to spread awareness about saving the Earth. Each celebration plays a role in each and every student’s mind to understand their role in protecting nature.
This year, the school celebrated Earth Day by teaching students about different plants. Teachers explained various plants and their importance. Students gathered around, observed carefully, and learned how plants help us by giving oxygen, food, and medicine. It was an interactive and interesting activity where students could see and understand things closely.
