A thrilling quiz competition was held on August 2, 2024, at Epic Public School, where four groups fought against each other in a nail-biting contest. The competition was a collaboration of Epic Public School and Nutshell, the rising stars of general knowledge. Students from classes IV to VIII participated in the quiz competition after clearing the initial hurdle of the elimination round. Eminent quiz master Mr. Krish Agarwal graced the occasion and conducted the quiz in a manner that was enjoyable for all; he was assisted by Mr. Niladri Bagchi.
The contest consisted of a series of questions spanning various categories, including the currency of various countries, movies, famous personalities, and monuments.
The students demonstrated impressive knowledge and skills, answering questions with speed and accuracy. The winning group, as their name suggests, ‘The Shooting Stars’, consisting of three students, Shreejit Jha, Utkarsha Sarkar, and Navika Ghosh, showcased exceptional expertise in sports, correctly identifying the popular FIFA World Cup-winning players.
Another group, ‘The Dark Knights’, which consisted of Parnika Dutta, Aayush Sarkar, and Samridhha Karmakar, demonstrated a unique talent for speed and accuracy, making the buzzer round a thrilling one.
‘Tiny Titans’, led by Soumyajit De Sarkar, Sattwik Mandal, and Debarshi Nath, portrayed an indomitable spirit and zeal where they fought till the last minute, overlooking the consequences.
And the fourth team, ‘The Deciders’, the trio of Souripta Debnath, Subhasmita Das, and Roshni Mahato, made the whole competition a thrilling experience.
Our students demonstrated a strong grasp of various subjects and a keen interest in learning more. The judges were very impressed with the performance and enthusiasm of our students.
The quiz competition was a resounding success, with our students displaying impressive knowledge and a passion for learning. Epic Public School looks forward to future competitions and opportunities to be engaged in more intellectual battles!
