I was already on cloud nine with the activities during the trip, but the last day’s incident was like a cherry on top. Let me tell you the story.
It was the 1st day of April in the year 2023 when I found myself at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi along with my parents and my uncle’s family. Soon we were on board, a flight that was scheduled to take us to the Male International Airport, Maldives.
During our trip, we stayed at the Lunuvali Resort and Bandos Maldives Resort, both were beautiful. Oh! I must tell you that this was the first time in my life I experienced snorkeling. What an amazing experience it was! I saw several colourful fishes, and trust me that was a sight I shall never forget in my life. We also went to Himafushi Island for an excursion where we witnessed dolphins playing in front of our eyes.
Finally, it was the day of our return trip. Reaching the airport as we were checking in, we came across “the wall” of Indian cricket, Rahul Dravid. Honestly, I could not recognize him initially. My father looking at my confusion told me about him as he used to play much before my time. And that is how the trip came to an end. A trip that will remain close to my heart for a very long time.
