Now, here’s a story that sounds like it’s straight out of a fantasy novel! Have you ever heard of a country with just TWO people? Welcome to the Principality of Sealand, a tiny kingdom floating 12 kilometres off the coast of England!
Sealand started its royal journey in 1967 when a brave man named Paddy Roy Bates and his wife declared it their own country! They even have a flag, anthem, and constitution—all the things a real country needs. But it’s not just about fun and games… in 1978, they were attacked by invaders! Did they run away? Oh no! The royal family fought bravely and protected their floating fortress!
