🎈 🌿 1700 – A Calendar Change!

🔥 1855 – The Santal Rebellion
It was the 30th of June, 1855. In a land covered with green forests and rolling hills—where the Santhal people lived peacefully—something extraordinary happened.
Sidhu and Kanhu Murmu, two courageous brothers, stood up and declared enough was enough! They were tired of British rulers, greedy landlords, and cunning moneylenders treating their people unfairly. So they raised their bows and axes and led thousands of Santhal men and women in the great Santhal Rebellion, also called the Santhal Hul.
This was before the famous Revolt of 1857. The Santhals were some of the very first heroes to fight for freedom!

🧠 The Monkey Business Debate
Fast forward to 30th June, 1860. Inside the grand hall of Oxford University, scientists and thinkers gathered to discuss Charles Darwin’s strange idea—that all creatures, including us humans, evolved over time!
Bishop Samuel Wilberforce thought it was all nonsense. He teased Thomas Huxley, asking if he was descended from an ape. But Huxley stood tall and said,
I’d rather be related to an ape than a man who uses cleverness to hide the truth!
The crowd gasped—and cheered. This debate changed how people looked at science forever.

🌉 1894 – London’s Tower Bridge Opens
One of the most famous bridges in the world, Tower Bridge, opened across the River Thames. Even today, you can see it lifting to let big ships pass under! Here is a video of the bridge from more recent times.
🧠 1905 – Einstein’s Genius Equation
Albert Einstein was only 27 when he published his theory of special relativity – that time and space are linked, and this occurred on 30th June, 1905. His famous equation E = mc² explains how tiny amounts of matter can release huge amounts of energy.

☄️ 1908 – The Tunguska Fireball
Just three years later, on 30th June, 1908, a giant fireball roared across the Siberian sky. It exploded so powerfully it flattened 80 million trees! Scientists believe it was a meteoroid or a comet that caused the Tunguska Event—the biggest impact in recorded history.

🚗 The Story of Cars: From Rattling Carts to Zooming Machines
Now, after all these adventures, it’s time for the tale you’ve been waiting for—the story of cars!
Long, long ago, in 1898, cars looked nothing like the sleek machines you see today. They were rattly, clanky, and had no roofs—more like motorised carriages. But bit by bit, inventors added new ideas:
- Steering wheels replaced reins.
- Rubber tyres replaced wooden wheels.
- Engines became stronger, faster, and cleaner.
- Bright headlights let drivers see at night.
- Seatbelts and airbags made everyone safer.
Every car you see—from tiny hatchbacks to roaring race cars—has a story of discovery and creativity behind it. They carry the dreams of people who imagined a world where anyone could go anywhere.
🌟 And guess what?
I’ve found a wonderful video that shows you how cars have transformed over more than a century!
Watch them evolve before your eyes:
Keep exploring, keep asking questions, and never stop imagining!
