A heartfelt message from Biswajit Jha, Director of Epic Public School, encouraging students to embrace joyful learning through innovative programmes, simplified language, and exciting history storytelling—shaping confident and curious minds for tomorrow.
Dear Students,
Have you ever opened a book, read a paragraph, and thought, “What does that even mean?” You’re not alone! Recently, some of you shared with me that sometimes the language feels too difficult and that hampers your learning. And you know what? You’re absolutely right. I went through some myself, and I realised that the problem isn’t you—it’s the way things are written!
That reminded me why your Principal Madam and I left our big, successful jobs in Delhi to come back and start Epic Public School. We wanted to make sure that learning isn’t just memorising, but an exciting adventure.
I’ve always believed that true education is about gaining knowledge that will help you become successful, happy, and confident human beings. Whether you dream of becoming an Engineer, a scientist, an artist, a doctor, or a IAS officer, what you learn today builds your tomorrow.
At Epic Public School, we are always trying to make your learning better and more meaningful. That’s why we’ve launched special programmes like:
- Epic Scholars League (ESL)
- IIT JEE Foundation Courses
- Creative Writing
- Career Counselling
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship
- Public Speaking
- Soft skill training
- AI Training
- Machine Learning – Robotics
- And now, a fun new section in your school magazine Epic Words!
In this new section, the editor of our magazine Somashis Gupta, shares exciting stories and facts from history, especially events that happened on the specific day in the past. And the best part? We’ve made the language simpler and easier, so it feels like you’re reading a storybook, not a textbook!
Now you might ask: “Why should we study history?”
Because history is like a time machine. It tells us the story of how our world became what it is today. From ancient kings to freedom fighters, from the invention of the zero to landing on the Moon—World’s journey is full of exciting stories! And when we understand our past, we can build a better future.
That’s why we’re also planning a special workshop where you’ll get to walk through a timeline of Indian history in the most fun, colourful, and child-friendly way. Imagine walking through time—from the days of cave man to the modern digital world you live in today!
So remember this always:
Keep asking “Why?”
Keep believing in yourself.
And keep learning with curiosity and joy!
Because what you learn today shapes who you become tomorrow.
With love and belief in you,
You’re Director Sir
