Epic Scholars League (ESL) kicks off with a unique evolution-based assessment, setting new standards in academic development.
Epic Public School continues to push the boundaries of academic innovation with the launch of the Epic Scholars League (ESL) — a ground-breaking series of continuous evolution tests designed to shape students into future-ready scholars. The first test of the academic year was successfully conducted on 17 May at the school’s high school campus.
This 70-minute assessment saw enthusiastic participation from students of Class VI and above, all of whom were eager to take on the challenge. Far from being a typical school test, the test format broke new ground with its competitive exam-style question paper and OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) answer sheets — giving students a real taste of national-level entrance exam rigour.
Speaking to Epic Words, a group of students shared their excitement:
“The test was not tough, but it wasn’t easy either. It was totally different from anything we’ve done before. This test gave us a new way of thinking and will definitely help us in future competitive exams.”
Academic advisor Arnab Thokdar, who has been instrumental in shaping this initiative, said:
“We’ve introduced ESL to prepare our students for real-world academic challenges, particularly for securing a berth in institutes like the IITs. The question paper mirrored competitive exam patterns, and the use of OMR sheets ensured precision and discipline. This was just the beginning — ESL tests will continue throughout the year.”
The vision behind ESL reflects Epic Public School’s commitment to continuous academic evolution, with each test building upon the previous one to help students track and improve their performance over time.
School Director Biswajit Jha and Principal Dr Sanjukta Saha jointly extended their gratitude and pride:
“We sincerely thank all teachers and staff for conducting the ESL test seamlessly and congratulate our students for participating with such enthusiasm and maturity. ESL is not just a test — it’s a journey of growth.”
With the launch of ESL, Epic Public School once again proves why it remains at the forefront of progressive education in India — developing not just toppers, but thinkers, doers, and future leaders.
