Our journey begins in the year 1206, when a man named Qutb ud-Din Aibak, once a slave himself, rose to power and established the Slave Dynasty — also called the Mamluk Dynasty on 25th June. This marked the beginning of the Delhi Sultanate, a powerful empire that ruled parts of India for centuries. Just imagine — a slave becoming a sultan! Isn’t history full of surprises?

⚔️ 1529 – Babur Returns Victorious!
Next stop — Agra, year 1529. The mighty Mughal ruler Babur returns home on 25th June, after a big win in Bengal! He had just triumphed in the Battle of Ghaghra, defeating Afghan armies and Bengal’s Sultan Nusrat Shah. With this, Babur strengthened his rule in India and took a big step in building the grand Mughal Empire.

Fast forward to Europe, Padua University in Italy. Meet Elena Cornaro Piscopia, the first woman in the world to earn a PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy)! What a proud moment for women everywhere!

🔧 1867 – Barbed Wire Gets Patented
Now to the wild, wild west of America. On 25th June 1867, Lucien B. Smith received the first patent for barbed wire, and later Joseph Glidden improved it. Barbed wire might sound simple, but it changed farming, land ownership, and life in the American countryside forever!

📖 1947 – Anne Frank’s Diary Speaks to the World
You’ve probably heard of Anne Frank, the brave young girl who hid from the Nazis during World War II. Her diary, “The Diary of a Young Girl,” was published on 25th June 1947 in Dutch, titled ‘Het Achterhuis’. Since then, her words have touched millions of hearts in over 67 languages.
