A delightful story by Anupam Mandal, Class 4, Epic Public School where young Prince Jo finds magic in the kingdom of Allan Stare.
Once upon a time, there was a magical kingdom hidden behind a mountain and a huge waterfall. The kingdom’s name was Allan Stare. It was named after the king of the palace, King Allan.
Behind the palace, there was a small house made of wood. A prince named Jo lived there—he was the son of King Allan.
One day, Jo was playing in the forest when he saw a feather belonging to the fire bird named Flamewing. Yes, the fire bird still exists even today! Excited, Jo took the feather and returned home.
That night, as he was gazing at the sky, he saw the bird flying overhead. Surprised, he shouted, “What is that?”
He looked at the feather he had brought from the forest—it was burning! He rushed outside and started chasing the bird. Flamewing flew into a cave. Cautiously, Jo followed.
Inside the cave, he discovered a glowing ball and a ball-stand. He placed the ball on the stand, and instantly, an image of his father appeared.
His father said, “My son, I want you to build a new palace. And here is a gift for you—Flamewing, a friendly fire bird.”
