I love my little birdies,
They chirp and sing all day.
But oh! When Papa leaves an open cage,
They all just fly away!
I told him, “Please be careful,
Close the door up tight.”
He smiled and said, “I’ll do it,”
But still forgot at night!
Then came a shiny idea,
From Innovation class where I create,
“A sensor with a buzzer—
That’ll make things great!”
I built it quite quickly,
It beeped when open wide,
Now my birds stay so safe,
And Papa beams with pride!
