A report by Prarona Karmakar, our reporter, a student of class 8, Epic Public School on the career counselling sessions during the summer camp, where the students were guided on diverse career options, clarify their aspirations, and plan their future with confidence.
As part of Epic Public School’s summer camp, the school organized highly impactful career counselling sessions. These sessions aimed to provide students with a clear idea about various jobs and help them explore a variety of career plans.
It was an engaging and interactive experience, with students identifying their future plans and aspirations, and receiving suggestions for their future paths.
The sessions were conducted by Rakesh Ghosh, who discussed various areas—from traditional fields like medical science, engineering, and law to emerging trends such as research, fashion designing, event management, and many more.
An interesting Q&A round followed, where students were free to ask questions about their choices for future.
Many lesser-known jobs and career options were introduced to the students. The counsellor also presented a comparison of all the streams. During the discussions, many interesting future plans emerged from the students. Some wanted to become IAS officers, while others aspired to be artists. Some were determined to follow their dreams, while others chose to pursue their passions.
The session emphasized the variety of future leaders Epic is nurturing.
That day, many students left the hall with a clear plan in mind about what they want to pursue as their career when they grow up.
