Epic Public School introduces development of core values like honesty, respect, and responsibility in children alongside academics, with monthly value-based learning themes.
Epic Public School is committed to developing children with qualities such as honesty, respect, responsibility, politeness, and many more—alongside our excellent academic curriculum.
Each month will be dedicated to fostering a particular value in the students. We also request parents to join hands with us in this noble cause. Together, we can help our wards not only succeed academically but also grow into well-rounded, compassionate human beings.
Speaking to Epic Words, Mr. Biswajit Jha, Director of Epic Public School, said,
“We want to incorporate values such as hard work, kindness, gratitude, patience, courage, etc., which are extremely essential for success in today’s world—alongside academics. So, we have dedicated each month of the year to inculcate these values.”
Dr. Sanjukta Saha, Principal of the school, added,
“We are also requesting parents to support this initiative by encouraging the same values at home. After all, a child becomes what he or she learns from the elders.”
Speaking to Epic Words, Mr. Arndam Pal, one of the parents, shared,
“Encouraging children to develop such qualities will not only make them better human beings but also help them succeed in the professional world. This practice is unique to Epic Public School, and I’m happy they’ve taken this initiative.”
‘‘Honesty is the best policy.’ This age-old phrase continues to play a crucial role in the upbringing of our children. As April marks the beginning of the academic session, Epic Public School has started with the value of honesty.
Some tips to develop honesty in children:
Be truthful and honest ourselves—children learn by observing adults.
Avoid being harsh, as children often lie out of fear.
Encourage them to speak the truth, even if they’ve made a mistake, and gently explain why it matters.
Teach them how honesty helps earn respect and trust.
Let us all join hands to raise better children—who will one day build a better society and a stronger nation.
