Celebrate Rabindranath Tagore’s legacy with the vibrant Rabindra Jayanti celebration at Epic Public School. From lamp lighting and inspiring speeches to wonderful student performances, the event beautifully honored the spirit of “Pochishe Baishakh.”
Rabindra Jayanti, well, most of us know what this day is and why it’s celebrated. It’s the day when the world famous and respected “Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore” was born.
Rabindranath Tagore is one of the best all rounder authors in India. He has wrote stories, poems, songs and even dramas! And none is unrecognized! He is really the one to admire. This year, Rabindra Jayanti was on 9th may, the English dates may vary sometimes from eighth or ninth. But the Bengali date is exact and is the well-known “Pochishe Baishakh”.
Honoring this special day, Epic Public School hosted a celebration, which was much awaited by the students and even the teachers.
The celebration gave a great moment to all of us to just think about the culture we have.
Anyways, enough blabbering, coming to our celebration, as usual the ceremony began by a lamp lighting ceremony, followed a little speech by our director sir and principal ma’am. This year, our lady anchor was Debdutta Bhattacharya, and male anchor was Bitan Das.

They did an excellent job in making the celebration look lively. The students of all classes had performed wonderfully! Let us take a look at some of the happy moments we’ve managed to capture on camera!
