On 20th August 2026, Epic Public School pre-celebrated National Space Day with an engaging and informative programme. The programme allowed the students to engage with the fascinating world beyond Earth. The students explored, engaged, and delved into the world of space science and their journey on Earth.
The celebration of the National Space Day consisted of multiple PowerPoint presentations created and delivered by the students. Through their presentations, the students explored various aspects of space exploration and engaged their peers and teachers with their information. The presentations highlighted significant aspects and breakthroughs in the field of space science.
Through the well-structured slides, engaging visuals and information, the students delivered their presentations with zeal and enthusiasm, captivating the audience with them. Photos and various other designs helped the audience connect better with the vast field of space science.
The presentations highlighted the fascinating journey of ISRO and the breakthroughs achieved by our space agency, which took India to new heights in the race for space science. Their discussions sparked a thought in the audience about all the information that our country has achieved in its journey to conquer space. The talks served as a humbling experience, reminding the audience of how far India has come in its path.
An exciting part about the presentations was that they opened the minds of the students to the fact that conquering space is not only about astronauts but rather a vast field that requires years of persistent hard work, dedication, and perseverance. The presentations by the students inspired people to develop an alternate perspective towards science.
What stood out for me during the presentations was the confidence and enthusiasm with which the presenters spoke about the topic. To speak about such a vast topic required not only preparation but also dedication and hard work to be able to speak with such confidence in front of an audience. I personally found it inspiring to see my fellow Epicians present their research with so much enthusiasm, connecting with the audience and sharing their knowledge with them.
The programme helped the students develop an alternate perspective, going beyond what was taught in the books. Space is a topic that raises many questions for humans, concerning not only the planets but also the spaceship, the astronauts, the technology, and much more. The day allowed the students to explore some of those questions, engaging their minds and sharing the knowledge with the audience. As an Epician myself, I find it fascinating how one topic can not only raise questions but also intrigue humans, making them want to explore further.
For me, what stood out about the day was that it brought people together, highlighting how one topic can unite a whole classroom, raising questions and sparking a discussion about space science and its marvels. As the presentations started, it felt as if we were on a journey through time learning about the history and the fascinating journey of space exploration through the eyes of the students. The students did not only present their findings but engaged the audience, making us look at the fascinating world of space with awe.
National Space Day, apart from the significance it holds, connects Indians with the achievements of India in the field of space science. The day, celebrated in our school, allowed the students to not only realise the achievements but also understand the dedication, hard work, and perseverance required for India to conquer the world.
The day concluded, with the students leaving the audience curious for more. National Space Day, as celebrated in our school, was not only a day of celebrating the achievements in the field of space science but also allowed the students to engage their minds with the fascinating world. The students, through their presentations, reminded the audience that the journey to the stars can start with one small step. It could begin with the curiosity that led us to ask questions, followed by research and sharing the knowledge with the world.
Perhaps that is what makes space so fascinating that it makes us wonder if there is more out there than what we know.
