Anushree Roy, a fourth-grader, shares the delightful tale of two monkeys, Golu and Bholu. Their adventure to the riverside takes an unexpected turn when they face a dilemma with a cunning crocodile.
Once upon a time, there were two monkeys named Golu and Bholu in a forest. They were best friends. One day both of them were going to the riverside to see the sunset. Golu suggested, “If we take a picnic basket it will be so much fun.”
“No Golu, we are going to the riverside and if we take the picnic basket, the crocodile will eat all the fruits that we brought together.” Bholu refused.
“But Bholu I am feeling hungry” Golu protested.
”Oh! Yes, as a matter of fact, I am hungry too.”
Golu and Bholu were caught in a confusing state. Suddenly Bholu suggested, “We should teach the crocodile a lesson. I have an idea we should throw pieces of rocks into the river, then the crocodile will go away. We can live in peace.”
