Somashis Gupta, Editor of Epic Words, pays tribute to the teachers of Epic Public School on Teachers’ Day, highlighting their dedication and innovative approach to student development. He also shares a video posted by our school on Facebook, which has garnered over 1 million views.
As we revel in the joyous occasion of Teachers’ Day across the nation, it’s only fitting to raise a toast to the unsung heroes who make Epic Public School a beacon of brilliance. A hearty round of applause is in order for the marvellous teachers who not only uphold their commitment but go the extra mile with a touch of flair and dedication. On this special day, I extend a big “kudos” to each one of you—you all rock!
In my Creative Writing classes, I’ve had the pleasure of observing a delightful contrast between the students of Epic and those elsewhere. It’s like comparing a perfectly brewed cup of Earl Grey to a tepid mug of builder’s tea. Behind my computer screen, the students’ creativity spills over in the most delightful ways. Take, for instance, a student I affectionately dub “VinciDa.” This artistic soul takes liberties with the screen, occasionally turning it into a canvas that can block the entire view. While some might see this as a smidgen of mischief, I see it as a fantastic display of thinking outside the proverbial box. Their imaginative ideas and storylines are nothing short of brilliant, and it’s a joy to witness as a trainer.
But wait, there’s more! A shining example of innovation and impact comes from the recent Facebook post by Epic Public School. The school’s page shared a video on the important topic of “Good Touch Bad Touch,” which has already garnered over a million views. This topic is of paramount concern to parents, and the initiative taken by the teachers and management of Epic to address it is truly commendable. It’s an example of how education extends beyond the classroom and into the community, proving that Epic is not just a school but a pillar of support and awareness.
So, as I bring this narrative to a close, let me once again raise my hat in respect and gratitude. To all the teachers of Epic Public School: Happy Teachers’ Day! Your efforts make a world of difference, and today we celebrate you and the tremendous impact you have on our children’s lives.
And just before I sign off, here’s that video I promised—do take a moment to watch and appreciate the work being done.
Cheers to you all!
