Krishanu Sarkar, a student of fourth grade, shares the tale of Sinbad, the adventurous merchant. Sinbad embarks on a thrilling journey to a mysterious, deserted village filled with hidden treasures and eerie silence.
Once upon a time, there lived a merchant named Sinbad. He was an errant traveller, known for his adventurous spirit. On one of his trading journeys, he heard from another merchant about a distant village where he could sell his goods at a high profit. He was immediately interested and eager to take this opportunity, he set out to find this village, braving unknown terrains with determination and courage.
After days of travel, Sinbad finally arrived at the village. To his surprise, it was eerily silent and deserted. There were no signs of life; the streets were empty, and the houses stood like statues. He wondered, “What would I do in this village?”.
Curiosity got the better of him, and he cautiously entered one of the houses. Inside, he was surprised to find piles of precious stones and diamonds scattered all around, glittering in the dim light. His initial excitement at the sight of such wealth quickly gave way to discomfort. “Who could have left these treasures behind?” Sinbad thought to himself, and a chill ran down his spine.
As he continued to explore further, he noticed a piece of wood glowing. The glow was beautiful yet disturbing as if something from the alien world. Sinbad’s intuition told him that this village was not a safe place. The glowing wood seemed like a warning or a sign.
Realizing the danger, Sinbad decided to leave the village immediately. He gathered his belongings and quickly made his way out, the eerie silence kept pressing in on him from all sides. As he left the village behind, he couldn’t shake off the feeling that he had narrowly escaped great danger.
Sinbad embarked on a new journey. He travelled far and wide, to new places. Years later when he returned from the voyage he met the merchant who advised him of the creepy village and narrated the incident. But the merchant was not surprised, he informed Sinbad that the village was raided by ……… ALIENS
