Day 2 of Summer Camp at Epic Public School was filled with excitement, creativity, and learning as students explored A.I., photography, science experiments, Mehndi art, planting, games, talent shows, and a joyful potluck.
We left Day 1 with big smiles. We started Day 2 of summer camp with even bigger ones. Every single one of us felt that the summer camp had just begun!
On the second day of our Summer Camp, held on 6th June, we were all excited and eager to begin. What new things would we try today? Could Day 2 really be as fun as Day 1? These questions were on everyone’s mind.
However, the moment we entered the school campus, all our doubts disappeared. The ambience itself had the answer. The corridors were buzzing with excitement, and friends were already busy making plans. It felt as though the fun had never stopped.

Students of Classes IV and V began their day with Science in Motion conducted by the Science and Maths Department. They were thrilled to see things move and react on their own. It made them realise that science may seem boring in textbooks, but it is fascinating in real life.
Next came the A.I. Workshop conducted by Dipayan Das and Syed Adnan Hussain, which left the students amazed. They had not expected Artificial Intelligence to do so much. While many initially thought it would be difficult, they soon discovered how interesting and accessible it could be.

The A.I. Workshop was followed by a Talent Show. Although many students felt nervous at first, Epic Public School encourages its students to overcome their fears and step forward with confidence. Watching their friends showcase their talents filled everyone with pride and happiness.
They ended their day with a potluck lunch. Sharing a variety of delicious dishes made lunchtime feel like a celebration.

For the students of Class VI, there were many exciting activities besides Science in Motion. One of the highlights was Heena Art, commonly known as Mehndi, conducted by Pooja Kumari Sah and Payel Roy.

Practised for over 900 years, Mehndi symbolises joy, beauty, spiritual awakening, and good luck. The students thoroughly enjoyed applying Mehndi to their beloved Principal Ma’am.

Students also participated in foil art. Shaping and designing different structures with foil brought out their creativity and added even more joy to the day. Another memorable activity was planting saplings. With muddy hands and sparkling memories, the students experienced the happiness of nurturing nature.

It almost seemed as though there was a friendly competition among the classes, as each had its own unique set of activities. Yet, it was impossible to compare them because everyone was enjoying themselves in their own way.

The students of Class VII, for example, had a wonderful time participating in fun games. They also learned valuable skills during the Photography Workshop, including framing, angles, and composition.
The senior students of Classes VIII to X did not miss out on the fun either. They enthusiastically attended the A.I. Workshop and found it highly engaging. In today’s world, learning about Artificial Intelligence through interactive sessions feels much more exciting than studying it solely as a subject.

The seniors were equally delighted to participate in the Photography Workshop held on the school campus. They learned that photography is not merely about clicking pictures; it is about capturing what we see and how we see it. A photograph is not just an image—it is a memory that remains with us and brings joy every time we revisit it.
The seniors also ended their day with a potluck lunch. Desks were arranged into one long table filled with lunch boxes. It did not feel like an ordinary lunch break; instead, it felt like a picnic shared with friends and loved ones.

Overall, Day 2 was not just another day of camp—it felt like the perfect beginning to the summer vacation.

As many of us believe, “The best learning happens when we do not even realise that we are learning.” Day 2 truly embodied this spirit. Every student had wonderful stories and experiences to share when they returned home.

What a fantastic way to begin the holidays!
