Experience the transition from summer to winter through the eyes of Pritha Ghosh of Class-5, Epic Public School, as falling leaves create a blanket on the ground and snow begins to cover the world outside in autumn. A reflective poem capturing the melancholy of a mother missing the warmth of summer, contrasted with a child’s excitement for the coming snow.
Summer has gone
The leaves are falling
One by one,
Making a blanket
On the ground.
The sunny days
Would be gone
And winter winds will
Begin to blow
All around snow and snow
But mom is depressed
Where did the summer go?
But I’m looking forward
To the snow,
From my glassy window.
